I ordered some of these notebooks last year when they were on sale and once I used the first one I placed another order because I need more Tomoegawa Tomoe River (aka Unicorn Paper). These notebooks are just wonderful. An index page in front and numbered pages will be handy but mostly I love the notebook itself. It lays flat when opened and it’s the perfect thickness to use in an Hobonichi cover. That means I have the perfect journal setup. The notebooks arrived well packed with a couple stickers that are very nice (and shareable). These notebooks (and stickers) will give me pleasure every day and every time I use them. And yes, if I see another sale, I’ll probably order more because…..Tomoe River paper is Unicorn Paper. I’ve talked them up to friends who have ordered as well. Thank you Wanderland222!

A friend of mine twisted my arm and got me to deviate from my usual journal brand to give this a try because he knows how much I love thick notebooks and fountain pens. He convinced me to try this for the simple fact that the paper loves fountain pen ink. I don't regret it, and I daresay, I might stick with this journal in the future. I usually write on the bigger side, so the small grid was something I was worried about (and I don't like leaving a row blank). Honestly, I like the look of the smaller, daintier handwriting I've been forced to do. The paper also holds up very well to watercolor. I tried a small section of colorful pumpkins, and it didn't wrinkle like crazy. Plus point: it dries really fast. I had a bit of bleed through with one of the ink swatches, but no issues at all when writing on the pages with alternating fountain pen ink colors both light and dark. I highly recommend this notebook to anyone. Try it at least once.
I have been using Wonderland222 notebooks for the past two years (this is my third), and have no intention of using any other brand *ever* again. This is my Grail notebook: everything, from the light square grid to the narrow rule width (3.9mm!!! You don't know how long I've searched for this size rule), to the numbered pages and index, to the white border around each page and the TR paper and page count, is *exactly* what I'd spent yonks looking for in a notebook. I use mine as a yearly planner/illustrated diary/commonplace book hybrid, and I appreciate how the page layout allows great flexibility for setting up different layouts for different functions. Love this notebook so. much.
I love the Wonderland 222! I had the B6 last year, and this year for 2023, I decided to get the A5. I love this planner because it includes a yearly view, quarterly projections, and a habit tracker. The weekly layout allows me to set up for a busy week and enough room to add my to-do lists. I also ordered the notebook and will use that for my daily journaling.
Perfect size and perfect notebook! I write small so I love the graff lines it allows me to write small and if I want to draw something in the notes it’s much easier than lined paper. This notebook reigns supreme! I bought these as gifts for friends to share the love!!!

Wanted to get an original Tomoe River notebook. Does not disappoint! I only use fountain pens.
After trying some big names notebooks and having them deal not do well with fountain pens I almost gave up hope but then I got an A5 notebook it is wonderful (now I know why the name!) All my pens love it and I am excited to write in it which I have not felt in a long time!

Excellent notebook, great paper for fountain pens, I love the grid format with division lines and 1-24 numbering on the margin. Comes with a key, and index and numbered pages. I will be purchasing more of these.
Love the fact this is undated. I plan to use this as a daily journal when i have a lot on my mind.

Maybe I got a bad batch of a product. I feel like i never know what's going to happen on each page. Even when I use the same ink, on some pages it works ok enough and on some, its as if im writing on toilet paper. Either way feathering is pretty common and some parts of the pages are waxy and repells the ink. I found the same for the brush pens. Some pages bleed immediate through and some pages old out ok. When i reached out to wonderland, they told me there's some standard variation to the paper and to try different inks.

These notebooks are amazing! I have six. In fact, I know they're running out so I'd appreciate it if you didn't buy any so I can have them all!! Great product, excellent communication, day delivery.
I already had one of these notebooks so I knew what to expect. They did not disappoint. Fine paper, works very well with fountain pens, no bleeding and minimal ghosting; small size pale grid supports text and diagrams. Flexible cover slips into my beloved leather journal. I am now set for the next two years!

What is there not to like the paper is just amazing. Takes me back to my school days when we had good quality paper! I love the way it sounds when I turn the pages, the way the ink lays on it, be gentle :-). Markers don't bleed through. This notebook will be used for my 2025 workouts since I work out 6 days a week, this will be just perfect!
Has the original TR paper. These notebooks are amazing, and I am working on gathering many, as once they are gone , they are gone forever! EXCLLENT quality, lay flat binding, my fountain pens LOVE this paper.
