I abandoned the Hobonichi for this planner! The paper is excellent. The horizontal weekly layout, with one page of planner and a facing page for notes is a great design. I love all the extra space for notes as well as monthly calendars that ride with you, so the latest month is close to the month you're in instead of sitting somewhere far away in the front of the planner. Big fan!

2027 A5 Core Planner Horizontal
A weekly planner with space for your schedule on one side and everything else on the other.
The A5 Core planner with a horizontal weekly layout pairs a structured weekly view with a full blank page for notes, lists, journaling, project planning, or anything that needs room to unfold. It is designed for people who want a calm, lightweight planner with white 52gsm Tomoe River Paper and flexible space built into every week.
Best for
This layout is especially useful if you like seeing your week at a glance, but do not want every detail squeezed into dated boxes.
The horizontal weekly layout places the dated week on the left page and leaves the right page open. It is a good fit if your plans often turn into notes, lists, ideas, sketches, tracking, or project details.
